The Cameroon Infrastructure Project Support (CIPS) in collaboration with the Cameroon government, the World Bank Group, the Africa Development Bank, and other private sector on 20th of February approved to be committed to helping government achieve universal health coverage (UHC) by 2030, which has the potential to transform the health and well-being of individuals and societies. The vision of UHC is that all people can obtain the quality health services they need without suffering financial hardship. UHC also allows countries to make the most of their strongest asset: human capital. The project has been estimated to cost $ 1.1 billion, and the project would commence on or before June 2019.
