CIPS has started a multi-year program to implement its economy development program to support its research, manufacturing, and development centers for leather production. This program has started the project in the West Region Cameroon at its largest manufacturing site and headquarters location in Limbe South West Region, with plans to continue the program in the West and Central Africa countries. This project will play a major role in the development and implementation of the functional road map for capacity building and poverty elevation..
The Leather Production is responsible for managing all aspects of scheduling, procurement of components, equipment maintenance, project and process planning and employee resource planning within a CNC Machining, Grinding, Welding, Stamping, Heat Treatment, or Assembly department in Business Unit Transmission Technologies. Statistic obtained from the production department revealed that the production equipment capacity would require importation of raw material from other African countries. The project will also enhance inter-trade between Cameroon, Africa, and the world at large. We are proud for the achievement so far considering that both local and foreign investors are enthusiastic about the project, while many have indicated interest in partnering with CIPS.
